Space SpaceX Dragon spacecraft fell into the Pacific ocean

Undocking the American space truck from the ISS took place today around noon.

Us space truck Dragon left the ISS about six hours ago, splashed down in the Pacific ocean, according to the official Twitter account of the company SpaceX, which belongs to the apparatus.

“Confirmed the successful splashdown of the Dragon truck, ending his 12 mission flight to the ISS and back”, – stated in the message.

Undocking the American space truck from the ISS took place today around noon.

Dragon is the only cargo spacecraft that can deliver cargo to the orbital station to the Ground.

The truck arrived on the ISS in mid-August. Since then, the ship remained in the American module “Harmony” (Harmony). The spacecraft delivered into orbit about 3 tons of cargo, including food, basic necessities and materials for scientific experiments.

Among the delivered to the orbit of materials, new supercomputer mouse to explore the possibility to neutralize the negative effect of gravity on the human eye, experiments on growing lung tissue and the latest research in the field of the fight against Parkinson’s disease, as well as equipped with a telescope nanosatellite for the study of the Earth from low earth orbit.
