To live in a marriage of 65 years is a tremendous achievement. Is able to is that the people who truly love each other and cherish every moment spent together. Ruby and Harold are such a pair.

Five years ago she was first invited to photograph the 60th anniversary of the wedding of this wonderful couple. Then Megan was entranced by the vitality of Harold and tenderness, which showed a ruby against her husband.
A few years later, Megan once again met the couple, and to her surprise, ruby didn’t recognize her, but Gary, it would seem, has not changed, still jokes and smiles often. At ruby’s age-related dementia, she forgets a lot. Communicating with the photographer, she even dropped a phrase: “I wish that we had never met before…”
Megan knows that ruby, sorry, forget her and the wonderful time they spent together during a photo shoot outdoors in the setting sun. She will remain only images that can be reviewed again and again, reliving pleasant emotions.
Talking about touching the walk, Megan said: “ruby will be happy to consider photos and this is the value of the work of the photographer. It’s amazing to see such long love as this family. I think it’s something to celebrate, document, treat this love very tenderly and taking her out for a sample for which to strive”.
