At the IFA exhibition in 2017 in Berlin, Sony introduced the Xperia XZ1, which received 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution and HDR support.

Inside located a powerful Snapdragon processor 835 and 4 GB of RAM. The volume of the flash drive to 64 GB. Battery 2700 mAh, according to the manufacturer, should be enough for a day of active use.

The main feature of the device developers call a 19-megapixel camera Motion Eye that has learned to shoot video at a speed of 960 fps. This is possible thanks to the Exmor RS with built-in cache memory. 13-megapixel front camera, in turn, boasts a 120-degree viewing angle.

In addition, when using the camera, users can scan 3D objects, then use the scans in a variety of applications, for example as a 3D Wallpaper on the home screen or to create a sticker for messenger. The developers have called this algorithm the 3D Creator.

Manufacturers also noted that Xperia XZ1 will be the first smartphone with preloaded Android 8.0 Oreo on Board.

In addition to the flagship, the developers introduced a compact version of the Xperia Compact XZ1. It has a smaller screen (4.6 inch).

Both smartphones will be on the shelves of European stores in early October 2017.
