Sony PlayStation 3 was finally removed from production

This means that the life cycle of consoles came to an end.

In Japan, Sony has discontinued the PlayStation 3, the manufacturer announced on the official website. This means that the popular device soon forever recede into the past.

The new PlayStation 3 will no longer be produced in Japan, and soon in the West.

The first copies of the PlayStation 3 was released in November 2006. Then the manufacturer has officially declared that will support the project for ten years.

Currently, the circulation of PlayStation 3 is about 80 million units.
