Looking at a fresh image from the upcoming movie “the Cult of Chuckie”, fans noticed an interesting feature of the anatomy of the red-haired doll maniac.
The moment is glimpsed in the trailer: there Chucky stands at the sick bed, to which is riveted a patient of a mental hospital. Dude obviously thought of something evil, taking for this oxygen tank, and… Oh hell, what’s Chuckie with his arm?! You only see his fingers were elongated, pointed, smooth finish turned into a powdery sprawling abomination. One of the fingers seems to be all twisted in the wrong direction…
Perhaps this is a consequence of some injury done to him in the course of the film. In the end the guy is made of plastic, and therefore could be fused. Or our old friend turns into something even more monstrous? Takes on flesh? Because of this Chucky dreams with the first “Child’s play” in 1988.
Well, the answers we will know this fall, when the premiere of the new part of the doll slasher.
After the asylum for the criminally insane for the last four years, nick Pearce thinks it’s her, and not Chucky, killed her entire family. But once the psychiatrist enters a new therapeutic tool for group sessions with patients — too familiar for Nicki doll of the series “nice guy”. And soon the hospital starts killing. Maybe she’s not crazy?.. To help Nike in a hurry Andy Barclay, grown-up boy from the first film about Chucky. But on his way stands Tiffany, in love with Chucky the killer is.
Brad Dourif again voiced little plastic butcher, and his daughter Fiona Dourif returns as Nicky Pearce from “curse of Chucky”. In his place, and the incomparable Jennifer Tilly and Alex Vincent, the boy who played Andy in the first and second films of the series, “Kids games”.
“The cult of Chucky”, the bloodiest part of the franchise, will be released October 3 this year on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
