I promised to tell you what I think about the two latest parliamentary initiatives — the so-called “bill Gorelkina” prohibiting foreigners from owning more than 20% of important Internet companies, resulting in unexpected stuffing in the Duma, which the search engine “Yandex” for the day lost almost $ 1.5 billion market capitalization, and about discussing the return of the death penalty.
As the daughter of the best of the speaker of the Europe of the twentieth century, as well as knowing for certain how the Duma, I can make only two conclusions — either the speakers have completely lost control of the deputies (obviously impassable and idiotic initiatives easily moderated and kicking right at the entrance), or it is not random, but supported by the Kremlin, but disguised as stupid/newsworthy projects.
The first is easier. The Bell had already figured out that the real name of the Deputy Gorelkina — it was the Kremlin, which insists on the adoption of this bill, but his representatives are calling the officials of the government and various departments and persuaded to support the project. Such a law leaves the authorities room to maneuver, and the Internet company hangs on a hook as a special Commission can do for the individual companies of the exception, allowing foreign ownership.
With the discussion of the question of the death penalty more difficult because newsworthy really is (murder girls in Saratov, rocked the city). But very confused, “suddenly” came to the rescue poll “Vkontakte” — type 80% of Russians want return of death penalty.
Looks like someone still really wants to leave the Council of Europe, which the Russian delegation today is extremely uncomfortable, and out of the jurisdiction of the European court of human rights. Too much today the Russian leadership of a headache from all these institutions.
So the conclusion is, it seems, just one. Both of these initiatives from above. And the argument that “fools-the deputies of the” remembered stuff, and then come out all in white, the head of state and killed their stupidity, unfortunately, not based on anything. This was not even once in recent years. All cannibalistic laws quietly signed and entered into force.
