Some medications for Ukrainians will be free

Free medicines will be for certain categories of Ukrainians.

Medicines against hypertension, diabetes mellitus and bronchial asthma will be free for Ukrainians from certain diseases. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a meeting of the government.

“From 1 April we are launching the allocation of free medicines, we allocated half a billion UAH for Ukrainians who have hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2 and asthma. Then there are medications for these chronic patients will be allocated free of charge “, – said the Prime Minister.

Also Groysman announced the reduction of prices for some drugs.

“On March 1 we reached the finish line for the optimization of prices on the Ukrainian drug. I want to emphasize that the government will achieve reduction of prices on medicines in Ukraine on the three diseases,” – said Groisman.
