Star of the new “Mummy” Sofia Boutella has joined the cast of the film adaptation of the novel by ray Bradbury “451 degrees Fahrenheit”, developed by HBO. Sophia will play the role of one of the key characters of the story, a girl named Clarisse McLellan, a meeting which completely changes the Outlook of the protagonist, “fireman” guy Montag.
“451 degrees Fahrenheit” tells of a dystopian future in which humanity no longer needs the books, and the consciousness of society is controlled through the endless and mindless interactive TV. The protagonist is a “fireman” guy Montag, whose mission is to destroy copies of paper books. But the meeting with the girl Clarissa unexpectedly causes him to think about what has become of the world, and whether you can try and save it.
As it became known, the caste of TV productions managed to join Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon, who will perform respectively the role of Montag and captain Beatty. The project is managed by Ramin Bahrani, speaking in his capacity as as Director and screenwriter.
