Smartphones can be charged via Wi-Fi

Sony has patented a method of charging smartphones via Wi-Fi.

Sony has developed a technology that allows the transfer of charge from one phone to another using NFC.

The invention was put into development back in 2016, and is now being tested in several prototypes.

Charge from a smartphone to a smartphone or other portable gadget will be transferred through a Wi-Fi connection, and complete every device will sell a special charger, operating mode wireless.
