Smartphone Lenovo S10 Pro is protected by the standard IP69?

A top-end smartphone features protection against water and dust according to IP68 standard, and that in itself is pretty cool, but there is in the world one cell phone, though not the flagship, which, just is not afraid of water is a new Lenovo S10 Pro. If you believe the press release, the class of protection is called IP69, and this means the opportunity to pursue at greater depth a lot of time.

Many of the already known standard IP68 means protection against water to a depth of 1.5 meters for half an hour, and the new Lenovo S10 Pro is able to lie under 2-meters of water column to 60 minutes. This is the protection class IP69, but yet believe in all this very hard, so wait for the test results from the independent users. Manufacturer Lenovo S10 Pro says that its new smartphone can operate in temperatures from -20 to +55 degrees Celsius, and that in it is battery capacity of 5000 mAh.

From such a solid battery feed 2 GB RAM, storage capacity of 16 GB, MT6737T MediaTek processor with four cores, camera Sony IMX219 on the rear panel and the HD screen a diagonal of 5 inches on panel front. Incidentally, this IGZO panel made by Sharp so the picture quality will probably be very high. Lenovo S10 Pro received two slots for SIM-cards, support for 4G networks and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but its cost remains unknown. The start of sales is scheduled for early October 2017.
