Skoda will unveil its first electric car

Its new Czech carmaker Skoda will present at the motor show in Shanghai in April.

Czech automaker Skoda will unveil its first electric car at the motor show in Shanghai, which will take place next month. This was announced by Executive Director of the company Bernhard Mayer.

“In Shanghai we will show surprise. This will give an idea of how it will look electric mobility Skoda”, – said a top Manager.

However, while the manufacturer will show a prototype of the electric vehicle. Serial version will be released in 2020 or 2021, when Skoda will be the first stage of the electrification of the model range – hybridization. Only after that the brand will bring to market EV models.

According to the head of Department of technical development of the Czech brand, Christian Strube, Skoda’s electric car would be “high tech and emotional.”
