Skoda Kodiaq adapted for off-road

Skoda company presented a special version of the crossover Kodiaq terrain called Scout. Public premiere of seven-seat car will take place at the Geneva motor show in March this year.

The novelty can be distinguished by a different radiator grille, an additional protection of the body and 19-inch wheel disks. Ground clearance is 194 mm. Special assistance system when driving on the road can be activated by a simple press of a button.

The car is all-wheel drive system and four drives to choose from. In the basic version of the SUV received a 1.4-liter forced motor (150 horsepower.). Also available is a 2.0-liter petrol engine capacity of 180 HP, which works only with robotic gearbox DSG7. Also in the range of engines included a 2.0-liter diesel engine with recoil 150 and 190 horsepower.

Earlier it was reported that the company Skoda also plans to develop a “charged” version of crossover Kodiaq. The car could get a 2.0-liter petrol turbo four-cylinder. Now this unit is installed on a Volkswagen Tiguan, where its capacity is 240 horsepower.

Looks Kodiaq executed in style of concept VisionS, which was shown at the Geneva motor show in March last year.
