The investigative Committee Valentin Manko suspects in the kidnapping of the journalists of TV channel Zvezda.
Deputy commander of the DUK “Right sector” Valentin Manko Sledkov Russia was accused of involvement in the kidnapping of Russian journalists in 2014. This was stated by the acting press-Secretary SK of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.
“The involvement of the Deputy commander of the Ukrainian volunteer corps Right sector, a citizen of Ukraine Valentyn Manko for kidnapping Russian journalists,” – said Petrenko.
In Sledkom recalled that in June 2014, two employees of the Russian TV channel “Star” carried an editorial assignment in the territory of Ukraine. On the road from Donetsk to Dnepropetrovsk at a checkpoint, their car stopped.
Petrenko explained that Manko was ordered to kidnap the Russians and taken to Odessa. During the day, the alleged victims were illegally detained members of the Right sector.
“Manko used against journalists, physical violence, demanding to abandon they disseminate information about what is happening in the Donbass”, – said the representative of Sledkoma.
