Intestinal microflora is very important for proper functioning of the body and for our health in General.
It is associated with metabolic processes in the body (metabolism), the ability of assimilation of vitamins and minerals, the immune system, as well as the level of available energy.
But improper diet and taking certain medications (antibiotics, for example) disrupts the intestinal flora. And this is happening constantly, as there are other factors that have a negative impact.

What is the intestinal microflora?
The intestinal flora represents a set of microorganisms that develops in the human body from the moment of his birth, that is, as soon as it starts its interaction with the environment. Thus, the microflora is formed gradually, with the growth and reproduction of bacteria.
It has about 100 billion bacteria, hundreds of different types.
Bacterial flora creates a certain degree of acidity in the gut, preventing the colonization and multiplication of bacteria of other species.
That alters intestinal flora?
There are many factors that can change or destroy the intestinal flora:
A diet rich in sugars, saturated fats, with lots of refined flour and fried foods.
During times of stress. Stress always affects our health. It not only alters the intestinal flora, but also reduces the protective abilities of the organism, making it more vulnerable to various diseases.

Drink for Breakfast yogurt
If you want to improve bacterial flora of the intestine, one of the best products for this is kefir, a fermented milk product, which we easily can prepare at home.
For this we need milk and starter culture (kefir mushroom).
Kefir grains represent a nodular mass, in appearance resembling boiled rice. These fungi feed on the lactose contained in milk. In the fermentation process they increase in size.
You can buy ready-made kefir, and you can prepare this drink yourself by purchasing only kefir fungus.
And the best time of day to take kefir this morning. Preferably on an empty stomach. Although it will be a great afternoon snack.
There is still yogurt on the water for people who can’t drink milk.
Sauerkraut is a traditional recipe in many countries. This spicy dish is often a side dish to meat or fish and I must say, it greatly facilitates the process of digestion.
Despite the fact that it is a product of fermentation, sauerkraut is a great
sources of probiotics for the body, and they are known for helping to “colonize” the intestinal flora.
Prepared sauerkraut is very simple: take raw cabbage, cut, then add salt, laid in a glass jar and infused. Sometimes add different spices, e.g. juniper.
Today recipes sauerkraut you can find a great many: there is a canned product, not only from salt but also vinegar, alcohol, and various additives.
However, what you buy in the store, most likely, will not save and will not improve the microflora of your gut.
Season foods with sea water
Sea water is becoming more and more a popular ingredient in various recipes, and all thanks to their unique healing properties.
Unlike table salt which contains only sodium chloride, sea water provides our body with essential minerals (and they are neither more nor less, 118).
These nutrients are absorbed through the intestinal wall, adjust the pH of the gastrointestinal tract and the whole body, and improve intestinal transit (motility).
If you suffer from constipation, you can take sea water on an empty stomach. Just mix it with 2.5 parts of ordinary drinking water. And so it can be used to season your favorite dishes in the cooking process (instead of the usual table salt).
If you want to preserve all the useful properties of sea water, it should be always consumed in its raw form. It is perfect for cold soups and vegetable smoothies, sauces, salads, etc.
If you need to populate the intestinal flora for a few days, for example, after illness or medication, you can use special additives.
