In a shooting West of Canada killed by a policeman. About it reports TV channel CBC.
It is reported that the incident occurred in the Parking lot of the shopping center. Presumably, the criminal tried to steal a car, but witnesses reported it to the police. So, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and prevented the hijacker, and then the shooting started.
As noted, the attacker shot and killed one of the police officers, but was later arrested. They found 60-year-old man from the neighboring province of Alberta.
