Shoigu spoke sharply about the strengthening of NATO forces near the borders with Russia

Russia intends in response to NATO’s actions to strengthen the defense of its Western borders.

We are improving combat strength of the troops and their bases,” – said Shoigu.

He also noted that Europe is trying to use military force as a tool for pressure to achieve geopolitical goals.

We will remind, recently the American and British troops conducted the first large-scale NATO military exercises on the border between Poland and Lithuania, pursuing possible scenario in which Russia could try to cut off the Baltic States from the rest of the Alliance.
