A nomadic tribe, whose members go 10 hours a day to find water

The tribe of Karamajong of Northern Uganda, it is known artful patterns and scars on the bodies of its members sportsmanship and beautiful women, but climate change affects their daily lives.

In the African Savannah has always been a dry climate, but every year it gets drier. People have to walk for 10 hours to find water for themselves and their livestock. Because without water there is no life without water can not do neither people nor animals nor plants. Water scarcity threatens the complete disappearance of their traditional way of life of this nomadic tribe.

Photographer Sumy Sadurni visited in February in Northern Uganda, where he made a series of interesting images of the members of the Karamajong tribe.
