In addition to the growth of the minimal salary, the reason for reducing subsidies will reduce social norms of gas consumption.
The subsidy that the citizens are not used during the heating season, is not going anywhere.
The Ministry of social policy were reassured that the not used part of the subsidy, the Ukrainians will be able to use in the future heating season, which will be this fall. However, not all part of the balance of the grant can be used.
Indeed, in accordance with the rules after the end of the heating period the amount of unused subsidies for payment of heating back in the budget. But part of the unused amount of the subsidy equivalent to the cost of 100 cubic meter of natural gas or 150 kilowatts per hour of electricity is not returned but remains in the personal account of the subsidy recipient.
Subsidies in the next heating season, said the former Deputy Minister of social policy Vasyl Shevchenko, the radio station voice of the Capital.
“It should be noted that diminished social rate of use of gas per square meter, if there is no counter. They will also begin to act in the next heating season. That is, the subsidy during the next heating season will be less due to two factors: the increase in the minimum wage, respectively, in the calculation of family income will rise and the reasons for the subsidy will be less. A second component – the reduction of social norms of consumption”, — said the expert.
