The self-proclaimed LNR separatists claim to have shot down an unmanned aircraft of the Ukrainian military, which was used for reconnaissance artillery targets and adjust the fire. This is reported by the separatist media, citing the Ministry of defense of the Republic.
“Today at 10.10 in the area of the settlement Kalinovo soldiers of the people’s militia had shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle APU Skaywolker, explore and prepare for adjustment of fire”, – stated in the message.
It is argued that the result of the defeat spotter “managed to avoid opening fire on the territory of the Republic”.
