Scientists from the Munich Ludwig-Maximilian University found evidence that most people, as it turns out, gives me no pleasure to look at other people’s selfies.

As found Sarah Diefenbach and Lara Christoforakos, a survey of 238 people, 77% take a selfie at least once a month, and 49% receive such photos at least once a week. 90% of respondents admitted that they perceive other people’s self portraits as self-promotion, but for his own selfie so are only 46%.
Also, more than half of the respondents expressed the view that imprinting itself on the camera negatively affects self-esteem, and can create a superficial misconception about someone. The survey involved residents of Austria, Germany and Switzerland, so that it can have a “Eurocentric” bias.
