The court ordered the Netpolicy to investigate the statements of MP about the threat to the life of Yuriy Shukhevych.
Statements by the leader of the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko about the threat to life of people’s Deputy Yuriy Shukhevych will check the law enforcement. The corresponding decision was made by Pechersky regional court of Kiev, reports the Executive Committee of the public movement “the Ukrainian choice – the Right of the people”.
“March 16, 2017, the Pechersk district court of Kyiv has recognized illegal the inaction of the national police and ordered her to make ERDR information upon Commission of O. Lyashko criminal offences under article 259 and article 383 of the criminal code (namely, the false report of the security Service of Ukraine about the most serious crimes, and false message about the threat of safety of citizens) and to start pre-trial investigation”, – reported in the Executive Committee of the movement.
During a speech at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 15 November 2016 Lyashko officially appealed to the head of the security Service of Ukraine with the message about the threat of the murder of Yuriy Shukhevych. Then Lyashko said about the involvement of the leader of “Ukrainian choice” Viktor Medvedchuk in preparing the assassination of a political figure.
“Announcing that Shukhevych may kill to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and linking this crime with Medvedchuk, Lyashko intended deliberately to discredit him and remove him from the negotiation process in Minsk,” – said in the social movement.
