Seat has launched a new model in the sky

The car lifted into the sky by helicopter.

Seat is staged in Barcelona, an unusual promotion of a new model — compact crossover Arona. The car lifted into the sky by helicopter, while the second helicopter filming the events.

The crossover is secured on a specially prepared H-shaped platform. The flight was at an altitude of about 300 meters in a zone of coast city, and took 50 minutes. The helicopter speeds up to 80 kilometers per hour.

Seat Arona was submitted in June. Compact model (slightly more “Ibiza”), built on the platform MQB A0, will compete with the Citroen C3 Aircross, Kona Hyundai, Kia and Nissan Juke Stonic.

In the engine range of novelties included a 95-strong “treshka” with a volume of one liter, 115-horsepower version of this engine and “turboservice” capacity of 150 horsepower. In some markets there will be also a 110-strong atmospheric motor.

In addition, the model will be offered with the 95 – and 115-strong diesel volume of 1.6 liters and 90-strong unit, adapted for gas operation.

The equipment Arona will include adaptive cruise, rear view camera, Keyless entry, avtoparkova, wireless charging for smartphone, multimedia system with 8-inch screen, Beats audio system with subwoofer, six speakers and a 300-watt eight-channel amplifier.

Wide audience, the novelty will present in the autumn on autoshow in Frankfurt.
