Frightening collision occurred on the 50th lap of the race.
The athlete from New Zealand Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing teams was involved in a serious accident on the race “500 miles of Indianapolis”.
The cause of the accident was a collision of Dixon with another driver who lost control at corner exit.
After hitting the car the kiwi flew up, then hit the highway barrier and flipped several times. As The Mirror reports, the participants of the accident were not injured thanks to the stable cockpit that protects the pilot in case of such incidents.
The winner of the race “500 miles of Indianapolis” was the Japanese Takuma Sato, who spoke on “Honda”.
