Scientists told about the star, “escaped” from the Solar system

In the past the Solar system for some time, entered the second star.

Astronomer Gilles Couture from Quebec University in Montreal (Canada) allowed the penetration in the past the Solar system’s second star. The study is available in the library of preprints arXiv.org.

Short-term penetration in the Solar system, stars, which is two to three times lighter than the Sun and moves at a speed of 25-100 kilometers per second, would lead to abnormal changes of the eccentricity parameter (elongation) of the orbit of a celestial body located in the Kuiper belt — a region beyond the orbit of Neptune that contains many icy celestial bodies.

Similar consequences would be in case within the Kuiper belt would be a planet 16 times heavier than Earth.

To similar conclusions came the astronomer, having by computer simulation. Research scientist shows that the observed parameters of the trajectories of TRANS-Neptunian (located outside the orbit of Neptune) objects can be attributed to the possible presence of a ninth planet, and the gravitational perturbation of a wandering star.
