Pisces know how to make friends and feel
Scientists from the Royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (RSPCA) believe that fish are intelligent animals who can feel emotions and make friends.
Experts from the RSPCA said that this assumption is the conclusion of one of the new studies, which have found zebrafish, aquarium fish danio rerio, are widely used as a laboratory sample, the signs of a social animal like humans or other mammals. Scientific work published in Scientific Reports. In this case, the people who don’t eat meat for moral reasons, but consume fish, still used as food “conscious” creatures.
The researchers found that being in a group of danio rerio experiencing “social buffering” — less fear when confronted with danger than in single cases. This mechanism can be used as a model for the study of social effects to human health. For example, the fact. that isolation can have a significant effect on the body, causing depression. RSPCA though not an advocate of vegetarianism, but it would be not against to create a labelling scheme for meat and fish.
