They are in the constellation of Hair Vernici in the Virgo cluster.
NASA scientists using the Hubble space telescope received the two galaxies NGC 4302 and NGC 4298.

They are in the constellation of Hair Vernici in the Virgo cluster, which includes about two thousand galaxies. Both galaxies were discovered in 1784 by William Herschel, then they were called “spiral nebulae” because it was not clear how far from Earth they are located.
In the early twentieth century, Edwin Hubble found that galaxies are clusters of stars far beyond the milky Way.
