Scientific studies have shown that people with a dark ring around the iris of the eye are perceived by other more attractive, reports the Chronicle.Info with reference to Politekspert.
The experiments of scientists was conducted to determine the effect of limbal rings on first impressions man. Experts believe that facial attractiveness reflects health.
The study involved several hundred people, according to the publication Planet Today. For three hours they watched and assessed a number of persons, some of which had rings around the iris of the eye. After specialists found that individuals with limbal rings tend to be considered healthier than those without them.
The scientists added that the ring around the iris will eventually become less noticeable as declining health and age.
