On Enceladus there are conditions for the existence of life.
On Saturn’s moon Enceladus discovered signs of the presence of suitable life conditions, NASA reported in the microblog in Twitter.
To such conclusion scientists have come, based on the data on sub-ice ocean of Enceladus, transmitted by NASA’s Cassini.
According to experts, the data indicate that under ice, the satellite undergo the chemical reactions necessary to sustain microbial life.
Earlier, the probe fixed on Enceladus, the presence of hydrogen. According to scientists, it was formed during hydrothermal reactions at the bottom of the ocean. Information received indicates the possibility of formation on Saturn’s methane. In turn, its presence makes possible the existence of microbes in the water.
The researchers note that the fact that the possibility of life on Enceladus – an important discovery given that it is at a very great distance from the Sun.
