This cave is more than 700 years.
Perfectly ordinary and unremarkable Nora, located on the territory of the farmer’s field in Shropshire, UK, was the entrance to the cave, whose age is over 700 years old. The caves, carved from Sandstone, were hidden at a depth of one meter under the ground.
The ancient building is the temple of the knights Templar — an ancient religious order whose power and wealth was so afraid of the Catholic Church and the European rulers.
After the knights of the order of the caves were used by druids, pagans and various religious sects.
All of them attracted one obvious advantage — the ability to conduct their rituals and ceremonies kept secret from everyone.
However, scientific discovery, this event is difficult to call: it turned out that this cave was known at least to the owners of the land on which they are located.
In 2012, the owners of the site closed the entrance to stop the endless stream of visitors.
Birmingham photographer Michael Scott, after seeing a report about the discovery of the caves, managed to get to the caves, and even take off as this mysterious place looks from the inside.
