Scientists have discovered the oldest image of a dog

In Saudi Arabia found the most ancient dog pattern

Scientists stumbled upon a half thousand of petroglyphs with images of pet dogs, they think they are the most ancient.

Experts have suggested that the figures about eight thousand years. They depict a man with a spear surrounded by animals similar to pet dogs whose neck binds something like a leash.

These figures may indicate how long ago people began to use animals for hunting.

Scrawled on the walls of the cave dogs are very similar to the Canaan breed.
I got the idea that the cave depicted, the Arabian wolf. The ancestors of modern humans were able to tame it in the period from 15 to 30 thousand years BC.

Scientists still have a lot of work to figure out all the details of the story. While there is no any confirmation or refutation of theories about the emergence of pet dogs at such an early time.
