Media reported that with this unit it will be possible to explore the ocean bed and find the types of plants and marine life that are still not known to people. The device successfully passed all the tests, which took about 14 days. During this time experts have immersed the device in water about seven times, and in two of them they lowered it to a depth of 5500 meters.
The unit was created with the help of local Academy of Sciences. Scientists intend to use it for biological and environmental research, and in exploration for marine minerals. The whole procedure of the Assembly of the model was delayed for 2.5 years.
