“Within a few days the body gets “extreme mode” – same as when fasting. The return to a normal diet after that allows you to “reprogram” cells in the pancreas, stimulating them to produce insulin in a healthy mode,” the doctors explained the essence of the proposed know-how.

After successful testing of the method of caloric restriction in animal experts want to test it on humans. It is already known that basically the diet of the volunteers for five days will consist of soups, energy drinks and protein bars.
