The researchers suggest the use of aerosols to cool the planet.
Scientists from Harvard University said that the process of global warming can be stopped by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
To this end, they suggested the use of reflective sulfate aerosols to cool the planet. The study, the researchers came to the conclusion that any aerosol can be formed by particles that contain calcite.
The latter is able to neutralize suspended in the atmosphere acid, which may cause ozone holes. Calcite is widespread in the earth’s crust and is found in limestone.
It is noted that scientists have already started experiments in the laboratory to test the efficacy and safety of calcite aerosols.
