It is reported that six volunteers were 20-27 years old, and four – 55-65 years. It was found in both age groups experienced a decline in the concentration of P1NP, a marker associated with bone formation. While young people, the concentration decreased more (27% vs. 18%). But the marker showing the degradability of old bone, did not change. This increases the risk of imbalance, when bone tissue is lost than is being generated new. The result can be osteoporosis and fractures.
