NASA is concerned about the changes in the Black sea, which was painted a turquoise color
NASA scientists puzzled by the color change of the Black sea, which was changed to turquoise.
The reason for this was the phytoplankton bloom, which was observed by U.S. military satellite Aqua satellite from may 29 this year.
Changes are particularly noticeable in the territory of Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania. Experts follow the color changes using MODIS spectrograph.
The black sea is known that it is the most blue in the world. The process of phytoplankton bloom – the normal process is, however, an excess can be detrimental to marine life.
