SBU will strengthen the counterintelligence across all Ukraine, – Poroshenko

СБУ усилит контрразведку по всей Украине, - ПорошенкоPresident Petro Poroshenko believes that such a decision is particularly important now, when the center of the hybrid war Russia moves closer to Kiev.

In the work of the SBU in the future priority will be to counter-intelligence activities that will be strengthened throughout the territory of Ukraine. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a speech on the occasion of 26 anniversary of the establishment of the SBU on Saturday, March 24.

The “law on reintegration of Donbass establishes a special procedure for the implementation of measures to ensure the security, resistance and curb Russian aggression. This will help us to focus on a priority component of the work of the service is on counter-intelligence, strengthening it, not only in the area of the collision, but also by strengthening counterintelligence activities throughout the territory of Ukraine”, – said Poroshenko.

According to him, this decision is particularly important now, when the center of the hybrid war Russia moves closer to Kiev.

“This increase is important especially now, when we see the smaller shots in a combat zone, the greater the activity of the enemy in the rear. The aggressor is trying hard to shift the epicenter of the hybrid war is as close to the heart of Ukraine. And the heart is our old capital, handsome Kiev”, – said Poroshenko.
