SBU: Russian special services send to Ukraine criminals

Russian special services are trying to escalate the crime situation in Ukraine to undermine the credibility of the government and the justice system. This statement was made by the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) after preventing a new “attempts at destabilization”.

Employees of SBU detained on the territory of the country of a native of one of the countries of the Caucasus, whose actions led by “associated with the special services of Russia” “the thief in the law” Lotu Guli.

It is noted that the detainee came under a false name in the Luhansk oblast, to take control of the activities of local criminal gangs and shady business. While he has previously been declared wanted by Ukrainian law enforcement officers.

As stated in the SBU, this case is not unique and tells about the attempts of the Russian special services to destabilize the situation in the country with the help of transnational criminal gangs and criminals.

The office recalls that “curator” of the detainee Lotu Guli (real name: Nadir Ismailov, and the change of name of Salifou) in Russia is a defendant in a criminal case according to article 210.1 of the criminal code (holding the higher position in criminal hierarchy). He directed the criminal activities in Moscow and other regions of Russia.
