SBU has declassified “fake foreign correspondent” with Russia

Russian intelligence agencies deliberately publish articles fictional authors with fake information.

The security service of Ukraine exposed a special operation of the Russian special services aimed at discrediting the authorities and Ukrainian journalism, the press service of the SBU in Facebook.

According to the report, Russian intelligence agencies deliberately publish articles fictional authors to create fake information allegedly from a foreign source. Then these publications spread on the Pro-Russian information resources.

“In sight of the operatives of the security services has got some “journalist” Yuri Abramovich, who is a regular contributor to the Pro-Russian information resource, “anti-Fascist” and his latest “masterpiece” “German TV: Owned by the oligarchs, Ukrainian media brainwashed people Patriotic propaganda”. The article talks about the alleged report (actually missing) German public broadcaster ARD on the methods of work of Ukrainian journalists”, – stated in the message.

In their submissions, “the author of” lights “German vision” of the situation in Ukraine and the world. At the same time in the German editions of his materials are absent.

“But his name is under 652-me anti-Ukrainian publications on the “anti-Fascist”. In open sources information on the identity of Yuri Abramovich is not identified. There is a possibility that it belongs to the category of “fake foreign correspondents”, which are used by Pro-Kremlin media coverage of international assessments of events in Ukraine and abroad”, – noted in SBU.
