SBU has commented on the detention of Ukrainian citizen in Crimea

The secret service denies that caught her agent.

The security service of Ukraine has called the information of the FSB of Russia on the detention of “presidential elections” in the Crimea “another provocation”.

“We believe that such fake news are needed by Russian secret services to intimidate the population of the Peninsula, which has increasingly expressed dissatisfaction with the occupation authorities. Against the background of deterioration of life of the Crimeans, the FSB re-launches “broken record”, trying to accuse Ukraine and its law enforcement agencies in their own troubles and problems in the Crimea”, – reads the statement of the SBU.

We will remind, the Federal security service of Russia said that on 12 August in the Crimea in an attempt to damage a power line Sudak – Novy Svet was detained a citizen of Ukraine Gennady Limesco. In the message of the FSB it is called the agent of the SBU sent to the Crimea for the implementation of acts of sabotage.

It allegedly found two TNT blocks of the type “200” tube with an incendiary ZTP-50, the mechanism for actuating the explosive device, a grenade RGD-5 with twisted heat, containers with flammable mixture, a handsaw (for podpili wooden poles of power lines) and a digital camera “to document the subversive activities and the subsequent report of it before the curators of the security Service of Ukraine”.

It is argued that Lemeshko – born in the Kharkiv region, who served previously in the ATO as a senior scout in one of the military units of the Armed forces of Ukraine. In the Crimea, he arrived on 9 August 2017.

According to the FSB of Russia, he was ordered to damage the transmission line Sudak – the New world, to set fire to forests in the area of Sudak – Rybachye – Alushta, to arrange a rockfall to block the highway Sudak – Novy Svet and set fire to one of the utilities in the village of rybache.
