Now there is documentation of this decision. In the SBU said that “it takes time”.
Basta in August of 2015 performed in the occupied Crimea.
18 June 2017, the rapper had planned to hold a concert in Odessa, but the event was canceled. Thus then the SBU reported that he had not banned the entry of the contractor.
Russia annexed Crimea after the illegal referendum on 16 March 2014. The annexation of Crimea by Russia is not recognised by Ukraine and most countries of the world. In the moment between mainland Ukraine and the Crimea there is an access control regime, and Kiev de facto controls the Peninsula.
In connection with the military aggression of Russia in Ukraine has banned the broadcasting of some films and serials of Russian production, as well as entry to selected artists for their “actions contrary to the interests of Ukraine”.
