Sberbank of Russia will sell its Ukrainian “daughter” to a consortium with participation of the Latvian Norvik Banka and Belarusian companies.
About it reports TV channel “Rain”, referring to the information in the press release of the Bank.
“I hope that the decision to sell our subsidiary Bank will contribute to unlocking its offices and resume normal operation which will enable Bank customers to continue to freely use the services of one of the most stable and efficient banks in Ukraine and will provide the basis for its further development”, – said Sberbank of Russia.
Besides, the Bank has the necessary funds to fulfill obligations to private and corporate clients.
Previously it was reported that Sberbank planned to sell the Ukrainian subsidiary, but the deal fell through because of the Lipetsk confectionery factory (LKF) Roshen.
Soon the Bank has denied this information and reported that only exploring the possibility of selling its Ukrainian business.
