Savchenko spoke about the cancellation of his law.
The extra fractional people’s Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko appeal to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada on human rights in connection with the signing by President Petro Poroshenko law No. 2046-VIII “On amendments to the criminal code of Ukraine concerning the rules of addition of punishments and transfer of the pretrial detention”.

“The President once again violated the Constitution of Ukraine. 22 article of the Constitution says that laws which are adopted may not act on the narrowing of human rights”, – said the MP the abolition of the so-called “law of Savchenko”.
According to her, the President could propose to amend the initial law in order to balance its norms. “We developed the changes that could make “the law Savchenko” balanced that really would work to protect the rights of people”, – added the MP.
She also stressed that he would discuss with Parliament Commissioner for human rights and the deputies the possibility of cancellation of the decision of the President. In addition, Savchenko intends to prepare a law which will aim to balance the justice system in Ukraine.
“The Ombudsman may submit to the constitutional court of Ukraine to cancel the decision of the President as unconstitutional, the deputies may submit a Declaration in KSU. In principle, I would speak with the deputies and the Ombudsman, and will also prepare a law that could help the people and justice to make the system balanced, and not what we used 25 years in Ukraine”, – added the MP.
