Samsung will release a smartphone with a hidden front-facing camera

Samsung has found a universal solution to embed a selfie camera.

Samsung has found a universal solution for realization of a new type of display that would have fully covered the front of the machine to get a real smartphone dreams without the “eyebrows and holes”. Thus, the current display Infinity-O with cut-out is only a step towards the creation of seamless screens.

The company is not going to abandon the selfie camera. According to one of the top managers of Samsung, Byun, young-Duk, the model number of Samsung Galaxy the front camera will be hidden under the display. It will be realized, when the company will develop technologies which will allow to produce a fully transparent camera modules. It can happen in the next couple of years.

Now it seems fantastic, but take into consideration that Samsung and other companies have learned to build in-screen fingerprint scanner. Galaxy S10 and S10+ used ultrasound scanner, and camera and sensor to scan the face though and set to screen, but they made the cut, which forms a blank area in the matrix and may be confused when viewing video and photos or playing games. With a fully transparent chamber, such problems will not arise.

Optimism of this technology for the selfie camera adds the fact that we put the Galaxy Fold a few years ago were considered “impossible”, but the company spent on its development 10 years, and he first appeared in public this year, and in April will even be on sale.
