Known Samsung Corporation to invest $7 billion in production of NAND memory chips, reported company representatives. Global production will be directed on manufacture of chips for flash drives, memory cards, smartphones.
At the moment the Corporation is a leader in the rating list of manufacturers of flash memory, and its share among other developers is more than 40 percent. The closest competitor Toshiba and not nearly catching up with a dominant 18 percent of world production. Now leading the company will be able to break away even more, because production will start soon.

It is reported that the funds allocated by the Corporation will be sent to the factory in XI’an, and within three years the project should be implemented in full in accordance with the plans of the customer. By the way, in addition to a leading position in this segment, the company exceeds all its competitors for the production of dynamic memory DRAM, where its share is equal to 44 percent.
