Samsung may introduce not two, but three versions of the device.
Korean online The Bell reported that the company Samsung is considering the possibility of merging flagship smartphones Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phablet in a single product family. According to experts, in the current market conditions a combination called series devices will be best for Samsung for several reasons.
In particular, the unification of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note will allow to reduce marketing and production costs and, consequently, to increase the profitability of the mobile division. In addition, in recent years, many buyers refuse acquisition of phablet Galaxy Note, preferring smartphones Galaxy S “plus”version.
Thus, it is expected that Samsung with the release of the next generation of Galaxy S devices may represent not two, but three versions of the device. In this case the highest version will be offered in kit with S Pen.
It is worth noting that in the past year, according to estimates by Gartner, shipments of “smart” cell phones Samsung was at around 321 million pieces. The South Korean giant with a share of 20.9% has taken a leading position in the market. In 2018, the company Samsung plans to implement from 320 to 350 million smartphones.
