In the night from 9 to 10 November 2017 Samsung Electronics announced the release of its flagship processor for mobile devices — Exynos 9810.
Mention of the development contained in press release prior to the start of CES’2018 to be held in the coming January in Las Vegas.
“Exynos 9810 — the new flagship Samsung processor, built on a 10-nm process technology of the second generation, — stated in a press release.
The chipset is based on custom kernels the third generation, updated graphics coprocessor and Gigabit LTE modem”.
According to preliminary data, the development will be hardware based Galaxy Galaxy S9 and S9+, whose release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018.
The announcement of the Exynos 9810 can also mean, that Samsung has decided to delay the production of processors, made by the 8-nm technology at least until next year.
Along with the latest chipset Samsung has announced the release of a compact PV modules ISOCELL Slim 2X7 with a resolution of 24 MP.
While most manufacturers seek to increase the size of the pixels in the matrix of their cells, in Seoul went the other way, reducing their size down to 0.9 µm.
