The device supports Windows Mixed Reality.
At a conference in San Francisco Samsung has unveiled its new mixed-reality helmet with support for Windows Mixed Reality. Helmet HMD Odyssey is equipped with two AMOLED screens, camera coverage of 110 degrees, AKG headphones, microphones and sensors that will track the position of the device in space.
The publication reports that the HMD Odyssey requires a connection to the computer. With two wireless controllers, the device can offer the user a pretty powerful opportunity.
The novelty has at its disposal two built-in display with a diagonal of 3.5 inches and a resolution of 1600×1440 pixels.
In addition to Samsung the Windows platform Mixed Reality from Microsoft also support from Microsoft, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, HP and Dell. The cost of the helmet from Samsung will be one of the most high – the device will hit the market on 17 October this year and will be sold at a price of $500.
