During testing, the iPhone 7 lost leadership “of the Korean” Samsung Galaxy S8.
In the course of testing smartphones iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S8 company DxOMark found that the American camera of the gadget is inferior to the Korean rival. It is reported that Galaxy S8 scored 88, while as the iPhone 7 – 86 points.
Korean smartphone showed a high level of detail when shooting, as well as good color reproduction in poor light conditions. However, the experts stated that the smartphone loses detail in areas of low contrast and shows the variation in the field.
It is known that the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is virtually indistinguishable from the camera’s predecessor, the Galaxy S7. The same resolution – 12 megapixels, has not changed the aperture to f/1,7.
Only slightly improved the algorithms for processing the obtained images, and therefore the result is still different from that shown by the precursor.
