In the third quarter of 2017 in the world has sold about 287,000 of electric vehicles. This was announced by the experts Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), published on Tuesday, the study of the electric car market.
Thus, the sales growth of electric vehicles (this number includes both the actual electric cars and hybrid cars, charging with a mains connection) amounted to compared with the second quarter of this year 23%, compared with the third quarter of 63%.
According to experts BNEF, more than half of sales come from China, where the state program of subsidies to make electric cars cheaper (sometimes up to 40%) of combustion engine vehicles.
Experts, moreover, predict that growth of electric vehicles (which they attributed to the greater availability of infrastructure for recharging and providing producers a larger selection of models) will lead to the fact that in 2017 for the first year will be sold more than 1 million electric vehicles around the world.
