The former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, one of the leader of the party “movement of new forces,” David Sakvarelidze said that President Petro Poroshenko is going to deprive him of Ukrainian citizenship.
“I have just received unofficial and not yet confirmed information about the fact that Petr Poroshenko is going to pick up soon citizenship I, and a number of other disloyal to him persons from among those to whom he gave two years ago,” wrote Sakvarelidze Facebook.
We will remind, the former first Deputy chief Prosecutor of Georgia David Sakvarelidze became the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine in February 2015. At the same time he was granted Ukrainian citizenship. A year later Sakvarelidze was fired. After the resignation of ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili from the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration Sakvarelidze started with him to sharply criticize the government. Is one of the leader of the party “movement of new forces,” Saakashvili said, helped ex-President of Georgia illegally to cross the border, for which he has been charged with suspicion.
In the summer Poroshenko has deprived Saakashvili Ukrainian citizenship.
